Immature granulocytes high
What are granulocytes?
White blood cells (WBCs) with tiny granules or particles are known as granulocytes. These granules include a variety of proteins that aid the immune system in fighting germs and viruses.
Granulocytosis occurs when the blood contains an excessive number of granulocytes.
A high WBC count usually means you have an infection or sickness. Infections, autoimmune illnesses, and blood cell malignancies all cause an increase in the number of granulocytes.
Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and other bone marrow abnormalities are linked to granulocytosis.
