They are a mental health outpatient clinic. The majority of their patients benefit from seeing them every two weeks. If you believe you require more frequent treatment than once a week, case management, or immediate attention, you should seek therapy from a higher level of care than Northwest ADHD Treatment Center can provide.

They are not equipped to give care for the following conditions and circumstances in comparison to other community resources: recent mental hospitalization, immediate worries about suicide/homicide/self-harm, psychosis, eating disorders, personality disorders such as borderline personality disorder and dissociative identity disorder, substance abuse problems, sex offenders, and persons requiring continuous treatment.

ADHD Assessment

The accuracy of the diagnosis is a top priority at Northwest ADHD Treatment Center. As a result, our intake process may be more thorough than that of other mental health clinics. To finish the diagnostic process, new patients can anticipate to visit many times. Evaluation of present and prior symptoms, acquiring information on diseases from outside resources, and completion and review of assessment forms will all be part of these sessions. Individuals will be tested for substance misuse concerns as part of the screening process, which may involve drug testing.

Individual & Group Psychotherapy

Individual and/or group therapy will aid in the development of new abilities, the development of symptom management methods, and a better understanding of how your symptoms affect you and your family.

Psychological Testing

A two-to-three-hour assessment focuses on testing critical thinking skills, remembering, learning, and interpreting symptoms in a variety of settings (i.e., school and home). Following the assessment, you will receive a professional report that you may share with your school, primary care physician, and our staff so that treatment can be provided at Northwest ADHD Treatment Center.

Medication Management

Following your psychological test, you will be sent to a nurse practitioner for a 60-90 minute full psychiatric and medical exam. Additional medical records from your primary care physician will be reviewed during this initial session, labs and diagnostic testing may be performed, and if necessary, a second follow-up consultation for treatment planning will be planned. You and their nurse practitioner will work together to plan your or your child’s therapy. This could involve things like lifestyle changes, diet/exercise, supplements, or pharmaceuticals.

Primary Care Consultations

They embrace collaboration with neighborhood medical providers. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have a clinical question about the diagnosis or treatment of ADHD. They do this as a courtesy to assist our community partners with education.

Couples Therapy

They work with couples who want to rekindle their love and find new methods to deal with the obstacles they face in their lives together. It’s helpful to understand how certain issues can lead to cycles of detachment when one or both partners have ADHD or are raising a kid with ADHD.
